Loved waking up to a gorgeous view overlooking the canal! The breakfast was nice but having a strict time slot of 7, 7:30, or 8 am was a bummer. Also, the noise from the nearby bars was quite loud at night. 😅

the staff seemed friendly, but I just coulnd't believe the noise from the bars at night. It ruined my entire experience! I also almost got some sleep, but the wi-fi was so weak I couldn't even download a simple email. A complimentary welcome gift would have been nice, too, seriously! I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

I had a wonderful stay at Kaneyoshi Ryokan. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with a private bathroom and a lovely view of the canal. The attention to detail, such as the daily pitcher of ice water and tea, truly impressed me.

enclosure by windows, spacious room, balcony overlooking canal
Noise from nightlife could be improved!!! The shower pressure wasn’t ideal for a refreshing wash!!! Consider adding soundproofing to reduce disturbances from the street!!! The décor felt quite dated, needing a refresh!!!

Spacious room, friendly staff, equipped with air conditioning and a balcony-type area overlooking the riverwalk, along with a quick 5-minute stroll to the nearest train station.
Everything was as expected.

missingWrote a review on Jun 21hot springcomfortable futonnoise pollution
The hot spring on the sixth floor had nice Shiseido products and offered a decent experience for relaxation after a long day. The futon was already set up in the room by the evening, providing a comfortable sleeping arrangement.
Noise pollution from nearby streets can be bothersome late at night, and the windows offer little sound dampening, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The 1am curfew feels restrictive, especially if you want to enjoy the local nightlife. Additionally, the alley location can feel dodgy, making it less suitable for families. The cleanliness of the bathroom was below expectations, which significantly diminished the overall experience.

Just a nice choice for a whistle-stop in Osaka with excellent value for money. They had a cozy common area where I enjoyed relaxing with a book after a long day. Try to get a room with a canal view for added charm.
